This message asks you to pay a Telus Mobility bill by e-transfer to a personal Gmail address. That is a common scam pattern because legitimate companies normally direct customers to official billing channels instead of asking for payment to a personal email.
Why we reached this result
- Requests payment by e-transfer to a personal Gmail address, which is highly unusual for a company bill.
- Uses urgent wording such as “pay your bill now,” a common pressure tactic used in scams.
- Claims to represent Telus Mobility while using a payment method that does not match normal company billing practices.
- Asks for an e-transfer, which can be difficult to recover once the money has been sent.
